| SHORT TREKS IN ECUADOR FROM 1 TO 5 DAYS | Short excursions that will make you discover the most beautiful parts of the two Andean cordilleras and the most famous natural parks and reserves of Ecuador. A superb trek which crosses one of the nicest parts of the Ecuadorian Oriental Cordillera. Long walks at an average altitude of 3900 m in the Cotopaxi National Park. This path is part of the Inca road that linked Cuzco, Peru, to Quito, Ecuador. This trek rises gradually up to 4200 meters and allows to discover some of the South Eastern Cordillera of Ecuador.
This route, although climbing a volcanic top at 5116 mts, (16.785 ft), is much more similar to a trekking than to high mountaineering. You will simply, from time to time, need "to put your hands".
A beautiful altitude hike through the Andean "parámo" that ascends to the active crater of Guagua Pichincha and to its summit (4794 m / 15,728ft) and them cross the entire massif to climb the Rucu Pichincha peak (4696 m / 15,413 ft).
